Many of these children reside in makeshift shelters built from found materials, leaving them vulnerable to the elements, especially during the rainy season. A New School is needed for the 2,000 civil war refugees that live in the Mae Sot Landfill.
1. 650 school aged children needing a school.
2. Transportation to schools is difficult for most.
3. Refugee parents are unable to travel to the schools & unable to participate in their children's education.
